Looking for a kitchen in Ghana with proper kitchen LED lighting built in from the start, not just a bulb screwed into the ceiling? THE LUMEN is our answer — a full fitted kitchen in light oak and white cabinetry, with integrated LED strip lighting running along the open shelving and under every counter section.
Most kitchen lighting is an afterthought, a single overhead fixture that leaves counters and cabinet interiors in shadow. THE LUMEN was built with lighting as part of the actual design, not something added later. Warm LED strips run under the counters and inside the open shelving units, so the whole kitchen has a soft, layered glow rather than one harsh overhead light doing all the work.
What goes into THE LUMEN:
- Light oak and white two-tone cabinetry
- Integrated LED strip lighting under all counter runs
- Open shelving units with built-in LED lighting inside each shelf
- Grey quartz countertop
- Fully integrated appliance column with fridge, oven, and microwave
- Fully customizable lighting placement, cabinet tone, and layout
THE LUMEN works especially well for anyone who wants their kitchen to feel warm and usable in the evening, not just during the day. The under-counter lighting makes food prep easier without needing the main overhead light on, and the shelf lighting turns open storage into a genuine display feature rather than just a place to stash items.
As with every fitted kitchen we build in Ghana, THE LUMEN is made to order. Lighting placement, cabinet tone, and layout are all part of the custom quote, built around your kitchen’s actual dimensions and electrical setup.
Why built-in lighting changes how a kitchen feels:
A kitchen lit only from above tends to cast shadows exactly where you need light most, over the counter, inside cabinets. Integrating LED strips at counter and shelf level solves that directly, and it has a knock-on effect on how the whole room feels in the evening, softer, warmer, more considered than a single bright overhead light.
