Sometimes a kitchen needs to make a bold statement without feeling cold or sterile. For this project, we leaned heavily into natural warmth by using a beautiful, rich walnut-style finish across all the cabinetry. It gives the room a very grounded, earthy feel that instantly makes you want to spend time in it.

To contrast all that wood, we installed a striking black backsplash featuring diagonal gold lines. We then added hidden under-cabinet LED lighting to wash down the walls and really make those gold geometric accents pop in the evenings.

To balance the dark backdrop, we topped the lower units with thick, white marble-patterned countertops. The white completely brightens the space, catching the natural light right off the windows. With sleek, handle-less upper cabinets and deep, heavy-duty lower drawers, the layout is designed to be just as practical for heavy cooking as it is visually sharp.
